AETDEW President Dato Lee Yee Cheong Attend WFEO World Engineers Convention WEC 2023 Prague

Dato Lee Yee Cheong is the oldest living World Federation of Engineering Organisations (WFEO) President 2003-2005. He was invited to attend the WFEO WEC 2023 in Prague 11-13 October 2023. Dato Lee utilised his time in Prague to connect once again face-to-face with AETDEW Fellows principally from Asia and Africa to inform them of the re-invigoration of AETDEW and to recruit prospective AETDEW Fellows from the outstanding WEC delegates.

He also took the opportunity to attend WFEO Executive Council meeting 13 October to get AETDEW more connected to WFEO.

Dato Lee would like to inform that at WFEO General Assembly 14 October 2023, AETDEW Fellow Mustafa Shebu of Nigeria took over as WFEO President 2023-2025 and AETDEW Fellow Tan Seng Chuan of Singapore was elected WFEO President Elect. Shanghai was elected to host WFEO 2025 General Assembly.
