A most successful groundbreaking one week visit by Malaysian village leaders and university students led by UTAR to Beijing villages took place between 15 to 20 January 2024. AETDEW particularly thank BTBU Vice President Professor Liu Minhua and Professor Di Yuna for arranging the visit. BTBU has become AETDEW’s best partner in China.

On 19 January, the Malaysian and the Beijing villagers delegations visited the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries in Beijing at the invitation of Dr Zhu Dan, Director General of Cultural Exchange Department. AETDEW was represented by AETDEW Fellow Academician Xie Ou. AETDEW thank Dr Zhu Dan for her interest and support of the Malaysia China Villages Exchange Project.
